From 1997 to 2004 I worked with various interior design and architectural firms. In 2000 I was invited to join the high profile local Canadian design firm CHIL, specializing in hotel construction and interior design and in 2004 joined the North Vancouver Architectural firm Synthesis Design as a lead designer. In 2009 I left to pursue my own business interests which includes designing and building a new luxury Bed and Breakfast Inn in Roberts Creek BC.
My experience includes interior and architectural design as well as project management in diverse locations in Canada, USA and Russia. The projects included commercial office and hotel interiors, hotel construction, restaurants, pubs, private residences, and multi-family developments. As a lead designer, I was working on a 550 home development in Moscow, Russia coordinating interior and architectural design as well as technical logistics and also worked on multi-family projects in California.
My experience includes lighting, and Lighting Design and was a member of the IES (Illuminating Engineering Society). As a specialist in this area, I understand how to best illuminate both residential and commercial spaces.
